Booking terms: A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required upon booking confirmation with the balance due 2 months before arrival. A R5000 damage/loss deposit is payable upon arrival. This is refunded less any outstanding claims, damages or loss and telephone expenses once the house has been checked at the end of the rental period.
Minimum stay: A 7 night minimum stay applies throughout the year except in Band A (which includes Christmas and New Year) when the minimum stay is 14 nights.
Low Season The Cape Town winter (May to August) is an often ignored time to visit the region. While sweaters are needed in the evenings and early mornings, the temperature frequently rises above 20 C and the days are less windy and very clear. The house has a state of the art eco wood pellet stove and full heating but this often isn’t needed by guests. Charges for electricity are additional at this very low rent period.
